Terms of Service

Last updated: February 9, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

Manage My Campsite ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Ben Bushell trading as Manage My Campsite. By creating an account, making a booking, or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

We provide campsite booking management software. We enable campsite owners and operators ("Campsite Operators") to list accommodation and accept bookings, and we enable guests to search, book, and pay for stays. We act as an intermediary between Campsite Operators and guests; we do not own or operate the campsites listed on our platform.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card details. Authentication and account management are handled by Clerk.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use our services. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering or making a booking.

Campsite Operators are responsible for the accuracy of their listing information, pricing, availability, and any campsite-specific policies (including cancellation terms) that apply to bookings.

4. Bookings and Payments

4.1 Making a Booking

When you make a booking, you enter into a contract with the Campsite Operator for the stay. We facilitate the reservation and payment. Deposit and balance due dates are set by the Campsite Operator and shown at checkout. You agree to pay the amounts due by the dates specified.

4.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. By paying, you agree to Stripe's terms. Refunds and chargebacks are subject to Stripe's and the Campsite Operator's policies. We are not liable for payment failures, holds, or disputes between you and your card issuer or Stripe.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are set by each Campsite Operator and are displayed during booking and in your confirmation. You must contact the Campsite Operator or follow their stated process for cancellations and refund requests. We will assist in facilitating refunds where the Campsite Operator agrees and where our systems allow, but we do not guarantee any particular refund outcome.

We may cancel or suspend access to our platform for breach of these terms, fraud, or to comply with law, without liability to you beyond any refunds required by the Campsite Operator's policy or applicable law.

6. Communications and Email

We send transactional emails that are necessary for your booking and account. These include booking confirmations, payment confirmations, payment-required reminders, and notifications to Campsite Operators about new or pending bookings. You cannot opt out of these emails while you have an active booking or account with us.

We do not send unsolicited marketing email. Any marketing communications will be sent only where you have given consent and will include a way to unsubscribe. Our use of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our platform to:

  • Violate any law or encourage others to do so
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Submit false or misleading listing or booking information
  • Interfere with or disrupt our systems or other users
  • Scrape, copy, or misuse our content or data except as permitted

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our platform is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of Campsite Operators, guests, or third-party providers (including Stripe and Clerk). We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or from any booking or stay.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of our platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (or the relevant Campsite Operator through our platform) in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred pounds sterling, whichever is greater.

9. Disputes

Disputes about a booking or stay should be directed to the Campsite Operator in the first instance. For disputes about our platform or these terms, you agree to contact us to seek a resolution. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we may notify you by email or through the platform. Continued use of our services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using our services.
